Project
With the official opening of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) in September 2022, the 2023 calendar is an important souvenir to commemorate this momentous occasion of HKUST’s developmental journey.
The architectural representation of HKUST and HKUST(GZ) resembles a semi-arc shape. The theme of a Unified Campus, the usage of a circle and semi-arcs are the major visual element. Featured research areas are elaborated on each monthly calendar page with icons and text.
Concept
The architectural representation of HKUST and HKUST(GZ) resembles a semi-arc shape. As the design is centered on the theme of a Unified Campus, the usage of a circle and semi-arcs are the major visual element. Featured research areas are elaborated on each monthly calendar page with icons and text.
On each page, it illustrates one of the featured research area, different icons and texts relate to the focused theme. Each page is double sided which represents HKUST (HK) and HKUST(GZ) duality with campus photos on respective sides.
